We’ll give this a week or so before expecting that someone from the bizarro world of global warming finds some cause and effect linking human activity to the recently discovered flareups in the sun, a mere 93 million miles away. We can predict that an academic study will show that the collective action of millions of soccer moms starting their SUV’s will create a chain reaction of carbon particles that create an impermeable shield to the sun’s rays which are then bounced back to the sun creating flareups. Consequently, a campaign will be started to have these moms bring kids to the games on bicycles.
There’s an old Chinese saying to the effect that, to a frog in a well, the sky is a 4 foot circle. This is the mentality that has guided the global warming crowd since inception. From this interesting article comes a very similar sentiment:
“…One commentator recalled the old adage of three blind men describing an elephant–one by feeling the trunk, one by holding the tail, and another by sniffing a toenail. Studying the sun one sunspot at a time may be just as limiting…”
The geniuses at the annual UN Climate Conference may want to heed some of these comments. It’s still hard to believe idiots spend all kinds of taxpayer money to gather and talk about the weather. The only toxic and noxious gases that are present there, spew forth from the attendees.
